M4 Oh Young One, Poke Me With A Stick and I'll Show You the Way

The ribbons of time and space are now boring me as I pass through the portal, so I'm just running through it. Then, I come to an abrupt halt, as I see more people, but I'm getting quiet used to having giant feet raising dust from the ground. What will I do now that I'm here anyways? I guess I'll crawl along-side the people in the elegant clothes going to I place I am not familiar with. As I stay on he border of the giant's shadows, I realize the sun on my back, it feels good. They look parched, they're most likely looking for an idea to get some water in this town, they were in a desert region with no mountainous regions and their fancy terraces (flat land used for farming) to support them with water or crops. I take a glimpse behind me and see the travelers being poked away with some kind of goad. I quickly turn back to the fancy citizen, in hopes that I don't get poked with that pointy stick.

The people are holding little rolls of parchment (old paper), and are young, are they scholars looking for extra credit by finding water holes? They're peevish towards each other, but need the same thing, water. They go along an unpaved road and look side to side for about an hour, then tremble on they're feet and finally notice me. They try to kick me swat me away, but then I bit their fingers in self defense, and heard a yelp. But they're too thirsty to try and hit me again. They slug back to their sandy town, with people starring at them with intent glares, for they failed the town.

The crowd seemed to notice me, and they yelled, "ألف لعنة ، ويجب أن تكون لعنة أنه تم قتل بلدتنا! المخلوق على قدميك!" or "A curse, that must be the curse that has been killing our town! The creature at your feet!". This is when I started to worry and scurry about the town, avoiding the pointy sticks. As I run for my life, travelers loomed over the streets and went into the town. The people were too busy jabbing a lizard with a stick to see travelers. From what I can tell, travelers aren't welcome in this town.

I run across the fancy men again, and they stare at me like I need to prove something, and said, (translated) "Why not also poke the traveler?". So I quickly run over to the traveler, who has jugs of water, and I look at them, then look at the water. People soon flocked to the seen, giving up gold, silver, and limestome which was abundant in this little town, to the traveler, and soon recieved so much water they could fill their well 1/4 of the way. They learned trading, from a lizard.

After the scholars had their share of water, they traveled onward to another near town, to share their teachings to all of Europe, when you can't, they can, trade. The town shouted happily, but still gave me the eew look after they were done. This developed into trading routes along the desert terrain, and everyone being happy (or happier, the world isn't perfect). Now the town will have to think of something else to complain about. Now, my next mission, where can I find another cricket?
