The Pilgramage WS (M15)

There was a ricochet of people, terrified and shacking in fear. As soon as a Buddhist uttered "To the temples!" or (real translation)  "אל המקדשים!" people swarmed like wasps to their queens, to the temples across the hill. It was a pilgrimage (this was vocab, if you don't know it, look) like no other. Are they really this serious about this disease? Their response seemed faster than lightning.

People screamed in the streets of dirt and poking gravel. I couldn't hear my thoughts as the people trampled over my tail. Acks and the sound of stomping feet surrounded the temple in a matter of hours after the start of the pilgrimage. One distinct person walked into the temple with a squealing pig as a sacrifice. People bowed and whispered prayers as the grunt of the hog halted.

Is it over? I'm just going to have to wait until we get back. Don't they know disease are caused by nothing karmic or unholy? The Indians have a long way to go if they haven't learned this yet. Where is this going to put me next?

  2. Really great use of figurative language! (The font colors could be darker for old eyes to read easier.)
