There it is, the Roman empire at the peak of their wondrous journey. It is truly wonderful, so wonderful, I've rented one of their small cottages. They're so small yet so pleasing. The concrete walls were waffled, and had paintings of Venus (one of their gods). Although it is great, I can tell the empire is starting to fall apart. I could only afford one night there. Ignoring that, I saw slaves busting in already, with their leaders sitting on their backs. There lied the richest man in Rome, the Emperor, about to make me pay up, and kick me right out.
"They're so getting it." I thought to myself. Around this time in Rome, the government was a tyranny. I turned around to ignore the soon to be gruesome sight, I could tell the royalty at my doorstep was about to be murdered by the angry mob behind. About a minute later I turned around to see his dead carcass, and the new, scrawny, emperor. "I get to stay another night!" I screamed in my head. The new emperor didn't care about me, and happily left.
Once again I get to awe at my beautiful house. It is now so quiet, and pleasant. Now I can resume the peace of being utterly ignored. This is the good life. Good luck fellow TTI members!
Wow, who knew having an Emperor assassinated on your doorstep could prove to be so rewarding!
