Back to the action, recap I'd just met the pharaoh and his sweaty slaves. Maybe I can eat raw meat, but I'm not comfortable with this much, as specially from people dressed only in rags with severe sun-burns that cover their whole bodies. Taking my eyes off the peasants, the lowest social class, I also see the pharaoh sweating. He has a hammock over his head, so it's not from the heat, is it from meeting a "real" god?
For the moment I thought he was jealous, then I figured out why he was really sweating... A thick mist fills the air, the Nile River is flooding! They're paralyzed in fear, as a giant wave sweeps all the crops away, and the water turns darker. I can clearly hear the Egyptians screaming and praying, they think I'm the god of moisture and am here to save them! I'm clearly not a god but can get the bugs to to dig a ditch, getting the water away from us! Simply tapping on the ground in a certain order gets the bugs below me burrowing, and lucky me, a snake too!
A huge ditch unfurls beneath where I was once standing, and a stream of mucky water fills the bottomless pit, making the water turn a dirty brown. Centipedes soon float on the water, flailing their 100 limbs. I guide the centipedes out of the water with a vine from a destroyed crop that just happened to drift by. With a twinkle in her eye, she greets me as I happily greet the her back. I saw her face proving it, meaning she is Hatsheput, from the eighteenth dynasty or 1508-1458 B.C.E., the first female pharaoh. She established a trade network and did a great job doing it. The sand ticks didn't have current information...
I really like your usage of the writers secret and Paralyzed. Are you liking the time traveling experience so far?
